We visited “The Ark”, curated by Eric Fischl, at The Church, Sag Harbor. Over 40 artists , including Louise Bourgeois, Kiki Smith, Maurizio Cattelan, Deborah Butterfield, Bruce Nauman, William Kentridge, Sherrie Levine, Joan Brown, Jim Dine, and Daisy Youngblood use their animal sculptures to deliver a powerful message of connection, compassion, and renewal. Highlight: the impressive “Spider Couple” sculpture, on view for the first time on Long Island.
